In a recent letter to The Wall Street Journal, a planning professor at Ohio State University blamed urban sprawl for the demise of the after- noon newspaper. Other people have blamed sprawl for obesity, global warming, the Columbine shootings, and other ills. Gee, is there anything sprawl can’t do?
