I was annoyed when the Left kept bringing up Enron as if it were the emblematic capitalist company. Now I begin to accept it, at least in one respect: Enron is gone, or nearly so. It went into Chapter 11, and it’s being sold off in parts. It acted badly and it died. It wasted resources and it will not get any more.
Imagine if it had been run by the government.
