The Ground Zero mosque controversy is somewhat ironic, considering the fact that the city of New York claims it has no right to determine what happens on private property. Meanwhile, it is illegal in New York to smoke in a bar, drink in front of a naked dancing girl, or buy a slice of pie with a crust full of trans-fats.
